Jennie was a graduate of Trenton State Teachers College. She was an elementary school teacher in northern New Jersey for 25 years, including schools in Garfield, West Orange, and Orange. She retired in 1953. Jennie was survived by her son, William H. Kiloh, and a half-brother, Elton E. Irvin.10
